To consume as a an Edible sprout: Remove husk first. Once the husk is completely removed, then crack the sprout in half. Do this by hitting the sprout around its equator, using the back (not sharp edge) of a cleaver or chef knife. You can also us a hammer to tap around the nut.
This tree can grow to full size and produce coconuts in a sunny and tropical warm environment, or it can stay small and act as an indoor plant for any habitable room. They do best in climates of 70 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer.
