Coconut Cultivation Process
1. GERMINATION
The mature coconut is placed in a humid place with good drainage. It usually germinates in a few weeks or months, depending on the climate and humidity.

2. NURSERY OR INITIAL GROWTH
The seedling is kept until it develops strong roots and leaves. In some techniques, it is transplanted to the field when well established, even at around 2 to 3 months in accelerated systems.

3. TRANSPLANT TO THE FIELD
It is planted in sandy soil with moisture, good drainage, and plenty of sunlight. The coconut should not be buried completely, as it needs to breathe and develop properly.
5. FLOWERING
Depending on the variety, flowering can begin around 2.5 to 3 years in early varieties. Later varieties may take longer.

4. MAINTENANCE
Weeding, watering when necessary, and fertilization are carried out. The coconut responds well to organic matter and nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

6. FRUIT PRODUCTION
After flowering, the coconut takes approximately 10 to 13 months to mature, depending on the final use and the variety.
